Shiromani Akali Dal appoints observers for Municipal Corporation elections
Party to contest elections on its symbol ‘Scales’: Dr Cheema
Chandigarh, December 9 (WISHAVWARTA):- Shiromani Akali Dal Working President S Balwinder S Bhundar has appointed party leaders as observers for the present Corporation Elections. This was disclosed by Senior leader Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema.
In a statement released here today, he disclosed that Mr Harish Rai Dhanda has been appointed observer for for Jalandhar, S Bikram Singh Majitha & S Gulzar Singh Ranike has been appointed observer for Sri Amritsar, S Baldev S Khaira for Phagwara, S Mantar S Brar & Mr SR Kler for Ludhiana and Sh NK Sharma & S Gurpreet S Raju Khanna for has been appointed observer for Patiala Municipal Corporation elections.
Dr. Cheema further said that the SAD will contest these elections on party symbol ‘Scales’.
