SEC issues the total number of nominations received for General Elections to the Municipal Councils of Tarn Taran, Dera Baba Nanak and Talwara
Chandigarh 20 February 2025 (WISHAVWARTA):- The State Election Commission, Punjab informed that 171 nominations have been received for General Elections to the Municipal Council of Tarn Taran (District Tarn Taran), 56 nominations have been received for General Elections to the Municipal Council of Dera Baba Nanak (District Gurdaspur) and 50 nominations have been received for General Elections to the Municipal Council of Talwara (District Hoshiarpur) till 20.02.2025, which is the last date of nominations. These General Elections to the aforementioned Municipal Councils will be conducted on 2 March 2025.
As per the schedule of elections notified by the Commission, the scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on 21.02.2025 and the withdrawal of nomination papers will be done by 03.00 pm on 22.02.2025.
