SAS Nagar, October 15, 2024 (Satish Kumar Puppy):– Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer, Aashika Jain has expressed thanks to the voters and candidates of 266 Gram Panchayats for keeping the polling process peaceful and smooth. Congratulate the polling staff and security personnel deputed at Polling booths, The Deputy Commissioner said that they all deserve praise for helping to conduct smooth and peaceful polling in the district.
She said that the supervisory officers including ADC (G) Viraj S Tidke, ADC (D) Sonam Chaudhary, Commissioner MC T Benith, SDMs Damandeep Kaur Mohali, Amit Gupta Derabassi, Gurmandar Singh Kharar, Deepankar Garg Joint Commissioner MC, Dr Ankita Kansal Assistant Commissioner (G) and District Revenue Officer Amandeep Chawla monitored and conducted the entire election process in a free, fair and transparent way.
Expressing gratitude to her police counterpart, Senior Superintendent of Police, Deepak Pareek, the Deputy Commissioner said that the security deployment plan for the polling has worked well besides the close monitoring by the SSP, SPs and DSPs.
District Election Officer added that the counting process will be started immediately after the completion of polling at same locations wherein the voting was conducted and she hopes the candidates and their supporters would cooperate with the administration in peaceful completion of the counting of votes.
