Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria Meets Members of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly’s Public Accounts Committee and Their Family Members
Chandigarh, June 15, 2026 (WISHAVWARTA);- The Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Union Territory, Chandigarh, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, today had a cordial interaction with the members of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly and their family members at Punjab Lok Bhavan, Chandigarh.
Welcoming the visiting delegation, the Governor shared his views on good governance, financial accountability, transparency, and various issues of public importance. He emphasized that Public Accounts Committees play a vital role in ensuring transparency, accountability, and the prudent utilization of public resources.
Shri Kataria noted that dialogue and exchange of experiences among legislative institutions of different states contribute significantly to strengthening democratic governance and enhancing administrative effectiveness. He also apprised the visitors of the rich cultural heritage of Punjab and Chandigarh, as well as various developmental initiatives and administrative innovations being undertaken in the region.
The interaction was held in a warm and cordial atmosphere, during which the members of the Committee and their family members engaged in an informal exchange with the Governor and appreciated the hospitality extended to them at Punjab Lok Bhavan.
