Chandigarh/Gujarat, May 4 (WISHAVWARTA):- Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann, on Saturday, reached Bharuch of Gujarat and campaigned for AAP candidate Chaitar Vasava there. Mann took out a mega road show and addressed the voters at Vagara, Jambusar and Karjan, where thousands of people gathered to listen to him. The crowd raised slogans of ‘Gujarat mein phir Kejriwal’, ‘Ladengey aur Jeetengey’ and ‘Inquilab Zindabad’.
Addressing the people in Vagara Mann said that Bharuch has the attention of everyone that what will happen here because the people of Bharuch are revolutionary. He said that they can never repay the love that the people of Bharuch have showered on Arvind Kejriwal, Mann and their candidate Chaitar Vasava. Mann said that Chaitar bhai fights for the people and their rights, he is fighting to resolve the issues of the common people. That was the reason that the BJP had put him and his wife in jail. But he is out now and once again fighting for what is right.
Mann said that they (BJP) arrested Arvind Kejriwal in a false case. They put him in jail just before the elections because they wanted to stop Arvind Kejriwal from campaigning. The BJP and Narendra Modi are scared of the AAP and Arvind Kejriwal. But they don’t know that Arvind Kejriwal is not just a person, he is an idea, a thinking, they can never stop a thinking, they can only put a body in jail.
Mann said that the BJP is so scared that they arrested Hemant Soren, they arrested Arvind Kejriwal, they froze the accounts of opposition parties and they are using the governor’s post to do their dirty work where there are non-BJP governments. Mann said that the Punjab governor also creates obstacles in the works of the Punjab government. The governor of Tamilnadu also does the same and Mamta Banerjee is also facing difficulties. Because the BJP is a dictatorial party, they want to finish the constitution of Baba Saheb Ambedkar and implement their own, they want to eradicate our democracy.
Mann said that in non-BJP states they buy MLAs and topple governments, and what can be more unfortunate in a democracy. He said that the example of Chandigarh is in front of everyone. BJP invalidated 8 votes of the AAP to form their Mayor illegally, but then on the orders of the Supreme court the Aam Aadmi Party’s mayor was elected. He said that a similar thing happened in Surat, Congress candidate withdrew his nomination and they bought independent candidates and declared BJP candidate winner. When constitutionally there should have been an election because even in the absence of other candidates there is NOTA. Mann said that hooliganism is the way of the BJP, they want to win by hook or by crook, the mandate of the people does not matter to them. So to save our democracy we must vote out the BJP.
Mann said that the trends of the first two rounds of the polls gave a shock to the BJP, they no longer are claiming 400 seats. He said that the INDIA alliance is winning both the phases easily. That is why now Narendra Modi and the BJP are resorting to the politics of polarisation and they are asking for votes on Manglasutra. Mann said that the BJP government has nothing to show in their report card of ten years. The youth did not get jobs, there was high inflation, the Modi government did not build government schools and hospitals and no one got Rs 15 lakhs. He said that the BJP is the Bharatiya Jumla party. Mann said that we do the politics of work and they (BJP) do the politics of hatred.
Mann said that they are keeping Arvind Kejriwal in jail because they know he will wipe out the BJP. We finished the BJP from Delhi and Punjab. He said that the government schools and hospitals are world class in Delhi and Punjab. The people are getting free electricity 24×7. I gave 43,000 government jobs in just two years. Mann said that we deliver what we promise unlike the jumla party. I even said in the parliament, ’15 lakh ki rakam likhta hun siyahi sookh jaati hai, kaale dhan ki baat krta hun toh kalam ruk jaati hai, har baat hi jumla nikli, ab toh shakk hai ki chai bnani ati hai’.
Mann appealed to the people to vote for the AAP candidate Chaitar Vasava and said that the AAP ‘jharoo’ will be no. 1 button on the voting machine, and after June 4th Bharuch will be no. 1 in Gujarat. He said that he can see that the people of Bharuch are ready to write history.
In Jambusar Mann said that journalists asked me how we stopped Modi in Delhi and Punjab. I say Lotus blooms in mud, with ‘jharoo’ we clean that mud, so there are no Lotus in Delhi and Punjab. He said that last time their two MPs won but this time they will get a big zero in Punjab. Mann said that the BJP has two MLAs in Punjab. The people of Punjab chose change, now it is the turn of the people of Gujarat, they should vote out the BJP too.

In Karjan, Mann attacked the BJP and Narendra Modi and said that a child who claims that he used to sell tea at a railway station, has now sold the Indian railways, BHEL, LIC, airports and our country. Mann said that we have to save the country from the clutches of these people who are a threat to our democracy and constitution. He claimed that the INDIA alliance is winning 110-120 seats from the first two phases of polls whereas BJP only has a chance at 40-50 seats. Mann said that has changed the tone of Narendra Modi. He said that it is a matter of shame that after ruling for ten years today Modi is asking for votes in the name of Manglasutra. They divide our country and our people, they do politics of hatred. He appealed to the people to vote to save our country, our democracy and constitution.
