Free coaching and government robust system shattered economic barriers: CM Mann

My Father Could Never Afford Coaching—But the Government Made It Possible : Arshpreet Kaur, Amritsar

I’m a Tailor’s Son, and Today I Cracked JEE — Free coaching turned my love for math into a future : Harish, Fazilka

Chandigarh, June 5 (WISHAVWARTA):-Forty-four students from Punjab’s government schools have achieved a remarkable feat by clearing the prestigious JEE Advanced 2025 examination. These success stories highlight the transformative impact of AAP Government and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s visionary “Sikhiya Kranti” initiative, which has made quality education and coaching accessible to underprivileged students across the state.

The students and their parents expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister and the Aam Aadmi Party government for their unwavering commitment to empowering the aspirations of common families through free coaching and educational support.

*Arshpreet Kaur from Amritsar*, who comes from a financially weak background, credited her success in both JEE Mains and Advanced to the free coaching provided in government schools. “The Sikhiya Kranti initiative gave me the opportunity to chase my dreams. My father could never afford private coaching, but the government’s support made it possible,” she said.

*Mahesh Kumar from Sri Fatehgarh Sahib* shared a similar sentiment. “Sikhiya Kranti has worked wonders for students from weaker sections of society. I cleared both exams because of the government’s initiative, which has given hope to many like me,” he said.

*Charanjit Kaur from Barnala*, whose son cracked JEE, expressed her gratitude, saying, “This is the first time a government has supported education to this extent. It has proved that success is not limited to the affluent.”

*Chiranjiv Kaur from Ludhiana* credited her son Mehtab’s success to the government’s initiatives. “Programs like summer camps and free coaching have turned dreams into reality for families like ours,” she said.

*Jaspreet Kaur from Mohali* commended the holistic support provided by the state and said “Students don’t have to worry about time, money, or resources. Everything—from books to capable teachers—is provided. The Chief Minister’s efforts are inspiring students to excel in every field.”

*Harish from Fazilka*, whose father is a tailor, expressed his gratitude for the coaching he received. “I’m passionate about mathematics, and the training for Olympiads and JEE has been life-changing,” he said.

*Jashandeep from Patiala* thanked the Chief Minister for the confidence and quality education provided through training programs, calling them “the need of the hour.”

*Harkiran Dass from Barnala* lauded the exemplary work done by the government in the education sector. “This success wouldn’t have been possible without the Sikhiya Kranti,” he said.

*Girish from Gurdaspur* highlighted how the initiative has steered the youth away from drugs. “This is a proud moment for Punjab,” he said.

*Arshpreet Singh from Malerkotla* suggested introducing courses on Artificial Intelligence in government schools. “The Sikhiya Kranti has opened new horizons for students,” he added.

*Prabhjot Kaur from Bathinda*, whose parents struggled financially, credited the free education and coaching for her success. “The Chief Minister’s vision has changed our lives,” she said.

*Harsh from Sri Muktsar Sahib* emphasized the role of JEE coaching camps in his achievement. “These camps boosted my confidence and guided me to success,” he said.

*A student from Patiala,* who had scored 77% in his 10th-grade exams, shared how the Sikhiya Kranti camps transformed his life. “I was told I wouldn’t do well in science, but the government’s efforts proved otherwise. I succeeded because of their support,” he said.

*Jashandeep Kaur from Dirba*, who dreams of a brighter future for her family, praised the government for its initiatives. “I want to fulfill my parents’ dreams, and the state government has made it possible,” she said.

*Mehtab Singh from Ludhiana* recounted his journey, saying, “I thought I’d pursue arts and BA, but the Sikhiya Kranti gave me a chance to join a Meritorious School and later attend government coaching camps. Today, I’ve cleared JEE Advanced because of this support.”

*Sukhdeep Kaur from Bathinda* said the supportive environment created by the government inspired her to appear for competitive exams. “The infrastructure, coaching, and encouragement from the government have been instrumental in my success,” she said.

A parent shared how his son, student of school of eminence, cleared JEE twice. “This is the result of the government’s dedication to education,” he said.

*Manpreet from Sri Muktsar Sahib* applauded the government’s commendable efforts. “Empowering students has delivered outstanding results,” he said.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s Sikhiya Kranti has shattered barriers, ensuring that talent from all walks of life gets the opportunity to shine. These stories of success are a testament to the transformative power of inclusive education
