*Mann Campaigns for Sanjeev Arora: Ludhiana is Punjab’s Heart, Choose the One Whose Heart Belongs to Ludhiana*

*Leaders Who Change Parties Like Clothes Will Betray You After Getting Your Votes: Mann*

Ludhiana, June 7 (Wishavwarta)-Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Saturday Wednesday campaigned for AAP candidate Sanjeev Arora in Ludhiana West, addressing massive gatherings in Jawahar Nagar and Sarabha Nagar. With fiery speeches and a clear message, Mann drew sharp contrasts between the Aam Aadmi Party’s vision of love and progress and the arrogance of opposition parties.

Mann urged Ludhiana residents to vote for Sanjeev Arora, emphasizing, “Ludhiana is the heart of Punjab. If you want to keep your heart healthy, choose someone who has Ludhiana in his heart.” Taking a dig at Congress candidate Bharat Bhushan Ashu, Mann described the election as a clear choice between “Pyaar (love) and Hankaar (arrogance).”

During his address, Mann launched a scathing critique of the Congress, BJP, and Akali Dal, accusing them of betraying Punjab’s people for decades. He singled out leaders who frequently switch parties, remarking, “Leaders who change parties like clothes will betray you the moment they get your vote.”

The Chief Minister also highlighted the achievements of his government, from historic reforms in education and healthcare to crackdowns on corruption and drug networks. He assured the people of Ludhiana that AAP remains committed to delivering transparent and people-centric governance.

CM Bhagwant Mann passionately addressed the voters, emphasizing the active participation of women in politics who the true impact of inflation. He stated, “Mothers and sisters come with hope because they know the real struggles of running a home. Without you, even the country cannot function.”

Mann criticized the opposition for their misgovernance over the past 70 years, accusing them of spreading drugs and fostering lawlessness. He specifically targeted Congress candidate Bharat Bhushan Ashu, referencing a viral video where Ashu was seen abusing a female principal. “Is this why you became a leader—to hurl abuses?” Mann questioned, contrasting AAP’s approach of seeking votes with love to the arrogance displayed by opponents. He further condemned such acts of disrespect towards women, declaring, “Such goons were once our compulsion, but they are no longer necessary today.”

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann highlighted that the Aam Aadmi Party’s candidates will be listed as number one on the voting machine so make sure after result AAP comes first too. Mann humorously warned against wasting time looking at other options, saying, “Press the first button and come back; don’t strain your eyes on corrupt and arrogant options.” He encouraged voters to complete their responsibility early, stating, “Polling starts at 7 AM—finish your work by 7:30 and let us start ours after the 19th.”

Mann said that he delivers what he promises. “During the Jalandhar West By-election I promised, Mohinder Bhagat will bring your demands written on paper to me, I will sign them and I fulfilled that promise; Now Sanjeev Arora will bring Ludhiana West’s requests, and I will fulfill them,” he declared.

Mann talked about better education, world class schools, UPSC and JEE coaching centres, free and quality health facilities, industrial development that his government spearheaded in Punjab. He compared AAP’s model of governance with previous governments, saying, “They had us reduced to beggars, doing everything for their families while we (AAP) entered politics to change this system.” Responding to personal attacks, he remarked, “Every morning, they hurl abuses at me. Have I caused any harm to Punjab? Have I been involved in any scams or taken a share from any business? The only share I have is in the pain of 3 crore Punjabis.”

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann highlighted the misuse of power by previous governments to gain wealth and assets. He pointed out the affidavit process during nominations, where candidates declare their assets, saying, “When I filed my papers in 2014, my property had reduced since 2012. In 2017, it was less than 2014, and then in 2022, it decreased from 2017.” He questioned how Akali and Congress leaders keep on getting richer every day. He added, “because they demand shares in businesses and do scams.”

Mann condemned SAD, BJP for spreading drugs and destroying Punjab, saying, “They distributed drugs door to door, ruining our state. We have launched a war against drugs, and you are supporting this fight to erase this stain from Punjab. Together we will free our state from this menace.”

Mann warned voters about corrupt politicians who buy votes with their own stolen money but then sell the people out for five years. He urged the public to accept money if offered but to vote for the “jharoo” only, on the 19th, empowering those who will work for the common people and their children rather than insult them or ruin their future.

Mann appealed to voters to decide the future of their educated children, whether their fate should lie in the hands of those who deliver results or those who hurl abuses. Emphasizing the party’s commitment to justice and rights, he recalled how Arvind Kejriwal started this fight for fairness.

Mentioning Mohinder Bhagat’s Jalandhar west By-election victory with 37,000 votes, Mann expressed confidence in winning Ludhiana west by 47,000. Mann said that the opposition’s real frustration is that ordinary people like them are occupying positions of power, where previously only their own children ruled.

Mann concluded with a clear call to action, “This election is not just about choosing a representative but about securing Ludhiana’s future. Vote for Sanjeev Arora to ensure that Ludhiana continues to thrive under honest leadership.”
