BJP’s Hypocrisy at Peak! Bittu Who Sold His Soul To Get Rajya Sabha Seat and Ministery is Questioning Punjab CM’s Authority: AAP
Bittu’s Desperate Attempt to Mislead the People of Punjab Won’t Succeed, Heads of All Development Authorities Report to CM: Cheema
Bittu Disregarded His Family’s Legacy, Pride and Values, People Don’t Pay Attention to His Baseless Remarks: Neel Garg
Chandigarh, June 22 (WISHAVWARTA):-Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab has strongly condemned BJP MP Ravneet Bittu for his baseless allegations against Punjab’s governance and CM Mann’s leadership.
Minister Harpal Singh Cheema lambasted Bittu for claiming that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s Powers have been hijacked. “The entire state knows how Ravneet Bittu surrendered before the BJP central leadership, first to secure a Rajya Sabha seat and then to gain a ministerial berth. His allegations are nothing but an attempt to divert attention from the development happening across Punjab under the AAP government,” said Cheema.
Cheema further highlighted Punjab’s strides in urban housing, industrial development, and agriculture. He stated, “AAP has focused on delivering real results for the people. Be it urban housing societies, industrial reforms, or support for farmers, our government is working tirelessly to ensure Punjab’s progress.”
Responding to Bittu’s claims about the Chief Minister’s authority being undermined, Cheema refuted them as outright lies. “Every development authority operates under IAS officers, and their heads report directly to the Chief Minister. This structure is designed to expedite decision-making and enhance efficiency,” he added.
Senior spokesperson Neel Garg called out Bittu’s hypocrisy and questioned his motives. “Bittu has been outrightly rejected by the people of Ludhiana during elections. Instead of respecting his family’s legacy, he kneeled before the BJP for a ministerial post, disregarding the pride and values of Punjab. His statements now are a desperate attempt to mislead the public,” said Garg.
Garg also pointed out Bittu’s silence during critical moments. “When Delhi CM Rekha Gupta disrespected Punjabi and Sikh values during her visit to Ludhiana, Bittu didn’t utter a word. Now, he’s trying to manufacture controversies to stay relevant.”
Both leaders said that it was Cabinet’s decision and it is taken to further accelerate Punjab’s development. “These measures aim to accelerate development, and the Chief Minister remains the final authority in all major decisions,” clarified Cheema.
Concluding his statement, Cheema remarked, “BJP and Ravneet Bittu are trying to distract from the real issues and undermine Punjab’s progress. However, the people of Punjab see through their agenda and continue to support AAP’s vision of transparent, accountable governance.”
