Hoshiarpur/Chandigarh, May 29 (WISHAVWARTA):- Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh campaigned for AAP candidate Dr Rajkumar Chabbewal in Hoshiarpur on Tuesday. Sanjay Singh addressed a public meeting here and appealed to the people to make the AAP candidate win.
During the speech, Sanjay Singh made a scathing attack on the BJP. He said that Amit Shah is threatening the people of Punjab that on June 4, he will topple the AAP government in Punjab and remove Bhagwant Mann from the post of Chief Minister. Sanjay Singh said that Amit Shah should first read the history of Punjab. When the people of Punjab did not bow down to Nadir Shah, then who is Amit Shah.
He said that during the farmers’ movement, Narendra Modi and Amit Shah caused a lot of pain to the farmers of Punjab. 750 lives were lost. In this election, you people should take revenge for the farmers’ movement from the BJP and defeat them badly so that they understand the meaning of messing with Punjab.
Sanjay Singh took a jibe at BJP and said that we have heard about bike thieves and gold thieves, but BJP is a different kind of thief gang. It is a party thief. It stole the bow and arrow from Uddhav Thackeray and the watch from Sharad Pawar. Now they want to steal the ‘jharoo’ from the Aam Aadmi Party. But this ‘jharoo’ will exorcise their ghosts.
Sanjay Singh said that the biggest threat to the constitution and democracy is from the BJP. The people of BJP and RSS want to end the constitution and reservation in the country. After the constitution was made, they burnt the effigies of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar and said that this constitution is against the country. Even at the time of implementation of reservation on the recommendation of Mandal Commission, they had strongly opposed reservation. BJP has been against reservation and constitution since the beginning.
He said that the BJP wants to implement a dictatorial system in India like Kim Jong Un of North Korea and Vladimir Putin of Russia. You saw its example in the Chandigarh mayor election. Therefore, defeating the BJP this time is very important to save the democracy and constitution of the country.
