SINGAPORE 22 MAY ( WISHAVWARTA )-According to flight radar information available online, the aircraft encountered an air pocket, causing it to initially tilt upwards due to strong headwinds. Subsequently, when the headwinds abruptly ceased, the aircraft descended rapidly. This sudden movement could have resulted in passengers and crew being propelled upwards and hitting the ceiling. It appears that the pilots were unaware of this impending event. Had they been informed, the cabin crew likely would have instructed everyone to remain seated and fasten their seat belts. However, this did not occur as they were attending to passengers at the time.
The incident occurred when the flight, en route to London with 211 passengers and 18 crew members onboard, had to make an emergency landing at Bangkok airport.
