Sarna Slams Kalka and Sirsa for Twisting Rahul Gandhi’s Pro-Sikh Remarks, Accuses Them of Subservience to Nagpur
NEW DELHI, Sep 21 (WISHAVWARTA): Akali veteran Paramjit Singh Sarna lashed out at Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee chief Harmeet Singh Kalka for distorting Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s recent pro-Sikh remarks.
He also targeted former BJP MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa, accusing both of following the anti-Sikh ideology of their political leaders in Nagpur.
Sarna clarified that while he does not support Rahul Gandhi or the Congress, he endorsed Gandhi’s comments on the growing hostility towards the Sikh community. Sarna stressed his issue-based support for anyone who speaks for Sikh rights, regardless of political affiliations.
Defending Gandhi’s remarks made during his U.S. visit, Sarna said the Congress leader’s statements shed light on the systematic efforts to undermine Sikh identity.
He slammed Kalka and Sirsa for attacking Gandhi, calling their actions reflective of political and ideological bankruptcy.
