Neel Garg to Pargat Singh: Don’t worry about us, worry about your leaders, half of Punjab Congress is already in the BJP
We are fighting against the dictatorship, our national convenor is in jail fighting to save our constitution: Neel Garg
Chandigarh, May 2 (WISHAVWARTA):- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab clapped back at Pargat Singh for misleading the people of Punjab by saying that the AAP will join the BJP. AAP spokesperson Neel Garg termed the statement of Pargat Singh weird and irresponsible.
In a statement released from the party office, Neel Garg said that this is the Aam Aadmi Party which has always opposed BJP’s dictatorship, and has opposed their anti-democratic activities. Many of our leaders are in jail because of opposing the BJP and Narendra Modi. Our national convenor and Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is in jail under a false case against him. Garg said that we are fighting this fight to save our democracy and constitution.
Hitting back at Pargat Singh for even doubting the intentions of the AAP, Neel Garg said that today 60% of Congress in Punjab has already gone to BJP, your former president is now the president of BJP Punjab, your former Chief Minister is in BJP today. Many of the BJP candidates in this Lok Sabha elections have come from the Congress. Your current LOP, his brother who was once a minister in Punjab, is also in the BJP today.
The AAP leader advised Pargat Singh to not worry about them, instead worry about the Punjab Congress and its leaders. We are soldiering the responsibility of saving this democracy. The Aam Aadmi Party will not go to the BJP but Congress leader cannot say the same about their own.
