Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, October 18, 2024 (Satish Kumar Puppy):- Adding colors to the opening of SARAS Mela Mohali, renowned Punjabi Singer, Ranjit Bawa enthralled the audience with his popular numbers during the first musical evening in Mohali.
impressed by the audience’s warm response, Singer Ranjit Bawa, sang with open heart and gave a wonderful performance acceding to the request of the people.
Punjab Minister of Revenue and Rehabilitation, Hardeep Singh Mundian, attended the music night as the chief guest. He said that the Bhagwant Maan Government is committed to keep Punjab in high spirits. He applauded the initiative of the district administration and termed the SARAS Mela as a meaningful step in the direction of strengthening the heritage and cultural fabric of the country.
On this occasion, ADC (General) Viraj S.Tidke, ADC (Development) and Nodal Officer SARAS Mela Sonam Chaudhary, Joint Commissioner Municipal Corporation Deepankar Garg, SDM Kharar Gurmander Singh and DDPO Baljinder Singh Grewal were present.
During the star night, singer Ranjit Bawa performed well for two hours with popular numbers such as Chithiye, Vagdi Raavi, Tere Dil Te Alhana Pavna, Tarifa, Mitti Da Bawa, Yaari Chandigarh Waliye and Heavy Weight Bhangra.
On the first night of the Saras Mela, people enjoyed a lot and bought handicraft items.
During the musical evenings of SARAS Mela, Singer Shivjot on 19th October, fashion show on 20th October apart from Punjabi singers Pari Pandher, Basant Kur, Savitaaj Brar, comedy night by Jaspreet Singh and Ashish Solanki on 21st October, Lakhwinder Wadali on 22nd October, Bhangra and Gidha (by university teams) on 23rd October, Punjabi singer Joban Sandhu on 24th, various artists on 25th October, Kulwinder Billa on 26th October and Gippy Grewal on the last night of the mela on 27th October will perform.
