The damaged Sewer Line is to be repaired by Next Week – Mohali MC Commissioner
SAS Nagar, September 20, 2024 (Satish Kumar Puppy):- The MC Mohali Commissioner has clarified that the damaged sewer line of phase-7 will be repaired by September 25, 2024.
Divulging the details, Commissioner T Benith said that the sewer line heading from Chawla lights to Phase 7-8 has developed a sudden problem due to the break up of a pipeline. To fix the issue the Municipal Engineering Wing is working on it to unblock the sewer line of the area. The dug-up area is also part of the repair underway. He said that to prevent this site from becoming the breeding house for mosquitoes, the corporation team has done the fogging containing Cyphenothrin 5 % EC. He said that the MC sanitation wing teams are regularly monitoring the Dengue Larvae by visiting door to door and the violators have also been served challans.
