Despite meetings with central ministers, godowns are not cleared, it’s surprising! – Kang
Chandigarh, October 23 ( WISHAVWARTA )-Senior leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and MP Malvinder Singh Kang sharply criticized the BJP over the issues farmers are facing in Punjab’s grain markets. He stated that the central government is deliberately troubling farmers, which reflects BJP’s hatred towards Punjab.
Kang mentioned that the BJP has not yet come to terms with the farmers’ protest and is taking revenge on Punjab’s farmers. He claimed that the central government constantly tries to harass farmers from Punjab for various reasons, and is doing the same this time.
He expressed surprise that warehouses have not been emptied in a year, despite meetings of Punjab’s ministers and the chief minister with central ministers. He noted that officials have sent several letters, yet no action has been taken.
Kang pointed out that the slow lifting of grains from the markets, despite their arrival, reveals the BJP’s ill intentions towards Punjab. He remarked that if the central government had such issues with Punjab’s farmers, they should have communicated it six months earlier so that farmers wouldn’t have planted their crops. He condemned this as a poor political tactic.
Kang assured farmers that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the AAP government stand with them, promising that every grain of their harvest will be lifted and that the government will not allow them to suffer any loss.
