BIG NEWS: Agencies Trying to Undermine Sri Akal Takht Sahib through Rebels: Delhi Akali Chief
Chandigarh, July 26 (WISHAVWARTA):- The Delhi Akali Chief, Paramjit Singh Sarna, has accused government agencies of attempting to undermine the dignity of Sri Akal Takht Sahib through certain disgruntled elements.
“Today, the very identity of Shri Akal Takht Sahib is being challenged at the behest of these agencies,” Sarna stated. “Their goal is to weaken the influence of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and diminish its importance among Sikhs.”
Sarna highlighted that Giani Raghbir Singh, the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, summoned the president of the Shiromani Akali Dal after the faction rebelling against the same Shiromani Akali Dal had complained.
Sardar Sukhbir Singh Badal, who was invited to Sri Akal Takht Sahib to explain his position, appeared as a humble Sikh, offering flowers during his visit.
“Unfortunately, some leaders of the rebel faction are acting with such haste that they are disregarding the dignity and authority of Sri Akal Takht Sahib,” Sarna added. He emphasised that Sardar Sukhbir Singh Badal’s explanatory letter will be reviewed in the presence of all five Singh Sahibs, reinforcing the supremacy of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
Sarna also criticised the silence of the Akali rebels on the issue of the desecration of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. Despite an investigation initiated during the Akali government and later handed over to the CBI, no culprits have been identified, and no action has been taken by either the Captain Amarinder Singh government or the current AAP administration.
“If necessary, a unified strategy should be developed to maintain respect for our sacred institutions and guard them against the agencies and their agents,” Sarna concluded.
