AAP gives a jolt to Akali Dal in Amritsar
SGPC member Bawa Singh Gumanpura joins AAP, Akali Dal’s senior vice presidents Narinder Singh Noni and Malak Singh Sandhu also join the AAP
People have no trust left in the Akali Dal, it is a Badal Dal now full of selfish and corrupt people, says CM Mann
Chandigarh, May 8 (WISHAVWARTA):- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab gave the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) another big setback in Amritsar. A prominent SGPC member and many Akali leaders left the SAD and joined the AAP in the presence of CM Bhagwant Mann and Talbir Singh Gill.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann welcomed Bawa Singh Gumanpura (SGPC member), Narinder Singh Noni (Senior vice-president Amritsar Urban), Malak Singh Sandhu (Senior vice-president Amritsar Urban), Kishan Gopal Chachu (member working committee SAD), Nishan Singh Gumanpura and Gurjit Singh Gumanpura (national vice-president Punjab) to the Aam Aadmi Party.
This setback will weaken the Akali Dal in the Amritsar lok sabha. Mann said that the leaders and the people of Punjab do not have any trust left in the Akali Dal as now it is Badal Dal which is full of selfish and corrupt people. Mann said that the Aam Aadmi Party always have a place for the people who are pro-Punjab and wants to serve the people.
All the new joining leaders said that they are happy to be part of the Aam Aadmi Party which has a capable leader like Bhagwant Mann. They said that they highly applaud the dedication and hard work of the AAP government in Punjab. For the first time we have a government who is working for the people and free of corrupt power hungry people.
