Chandigarh, April 19: (Wishav Warta) Today marks the third day of farmers’ protest at Shambhu Railway Station. Farmers have completely blocked the railway tracks. The disruption of this track has affected all trains traveling from UP, Delhi, Haryana to Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir. Many trains are being canceled, and several trains are being diverted. As a result, passengers are facing heavy inconvenience. It is noteworthy that the farmers, including youth leader Navdeep Singh Jalewada, have demanded the release of 3 farmers from the government. Earlier, they had a meeting with the governments of Haryana and Punjab, after which they were assured of their release. After that, the farmers gave time to the government until April 16. When the government did not release them, the farmers set up a permanent protest on the tracks.
