District Traders’ Commission Holds Meeting with Traders and Shopkeepers at Sector 71, Mohali
SAS Nagar, June 27 (WISHAVWARTA);- As part of its ongoing initiative to strengthen coordination with the trading community and ensure timely resolution of their concerns, the District Traders’ Commission today held an interactive meeting with traders and shopkeepers at Sector 71, Mohali.
The meeting was chaired by District Traders’ Commission Chairman Ranjit Pal Singh, who, along with Vice Chairman Tarlochan Singh Baidwan, patiently heard the grievances and suggestions put forth by the participants. The Commission assured the traders that all genuine issues would be taken up with the concerned departments and resolved in a time-bound manner.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Ranjit Pal Singh reiterated the Punjab Government’s commitment to creating a trader-friendly environment by maintaining regular dialogue with the business community and ensuring prompt redressal of their concerns.
The participants appreciated the Commission’s outreach initiative and shared various issues pertaining to civic amenities, infrastructure, public services and matters affecting trade and commerce.
Among those present were Assembly Constituency Chairman Akvinder Singh Gosal, MC Mohali Senior Deputy Mayor Rajinder Parsad Sharma, Deputy Mayor Harpal Singh Channa, besides a large number of traders, shopkeepers and other dignitaries.
