Chandigarh Press Club, Yajur Foundation Organise Health Camp; Over 200 members and their families attend

Chandigarh, 2 June (wishavwarta);- The Chandigarh Press Club, in association with Yajur Foundation, organised a health camp for club members and their families at the club premises on Sunday.
More than 200 members and their family members benefited from the camp. In addition to blood investigations, free consultations were provided by specialists in neurology, orthopaedics, general medicine, gynaecology, paediatrics and mental health.
The camp was conducted by Yajur Foundation, a Chandigarh-based non-profit organisation driven by the belief that “Each Step Towards Education, Each Breath Towards Health.”
Over the years, Yajur Foundation has organised more than 50 health camps and mental health awareness workshops across the region. Guided by the vision of Dr Deepak Tyagi and Mrs Rachna Tyagi, and supported by a dedicated team of volunteers, the Foundation has been actively conducting mental health awareness programmes in government schools across Chandigarh. Through counselling and outreach initiatives, it aims to support the younger generation and contribute to a healthier future.
At the health camp held at the Chandigarh Press Club, an esteemed panel of specialists — Dr Deepak Tyagi (Neurologist), Dr Vipul (Pediatrician), Dr Charu (Gynaecologist), Dr Prince (General Surgeon), Dr Vikram (Orthopaedic Surgeon) and Dr Gunshekhara (General Medicine) — provided consultations and supervised blood test services for more than 200 beneficiaries, reinforcing the Foundation’s commitment to accessible healthcare.
With a growing network of medical professionals, educators and volunteers, Yajur Foundation is determined to expand its impact — one school, one camp and one life at a time — making wellness and awareness a right rather than a privilege.
