Former National Trade Union General Secretary of Congress Kanwar Uday Singh Rathore Joins AAP
Minister Aman Arora Welcomes Rathore into the Party

Chandigarh, May 8 (WISHAVWARTA);-The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is continuously growing stronger in Punjab. On the other hand, the Congress has suffered a major setback. On Friday, former National Trade Union General Secretary of Congress Kanwar Uday Singh Rathore, along with his supporters, joined the Aam Aadmi Party in the presence of Cabinet Minister Aman Arora and Dera Bassi MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa after leaving the Congress party.
Minister Aman Arora formally welcomed Kanwar Uday Singh Rathore into the party by presenting him with a siropa.
Kanwar Uday Singh Rathore’s political journey has been quite influential. He has served in important positions such as former General Secretary of the Indian National Trade Union Congress, spokesperson of Punjab Pradesh Congress, Chairman of the Social Media Cell Punjab, and Secretary In-charge of the Malwa Zone. His joining AAP will significantly strengthen the party in the region.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora welcomed Kanwar Uday Singh Rathore into the party and said that inspired by the working style of the Aam Aadmi Party and our commitment towards the all-round development of Punjab, honest people from every section of society are continuously joining us. The induction of an experienced and grassroots leader like Kanwar Uday Singh Rathore will bring new energy to the party organization.
