321 Nominations Filed for 52 Panchayat Samiti Zones in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar District
Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, December 4 (WISHAVWARTA):- A total of 321 nominations have been filed for 52 zones of the Kharar, Dera Bassi, and Majri Panchayat Samitis by the end of the nomination process for Election to Panchayat Samitis in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar district.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development)-cum-Additional District Election Officer, Ms. Sonam Choudhary, informed that 22 nominations were received yesterday, while 299 nominations were filed today, taking the total to 321.
She further shared that 78 nominations have been filed for the 15 zones of Kharar Panchayat Samiti, while 94 nominations have been received for the 15 zones of Majri Panchayat Samiti. The 22 zones of Dera Bassi Panchayat Samiti have received a total of 149 nominations.
Ms. Choudhary added that the scrutiny of nominations will be conducted on December 5, and the last date for withdrawal of valid nominations is December 6.
