Stop Baseless Propaganda and Let Us Focus on Progress: Aman Arora
Raja Warring Spreads Rumors to Stay Relevant While Ignoring Past Governance Failures: Deepak Bali
Opposition Lacks Real Issues; Congress Resorts to Petty Politics for Media Attention and Survival: Bali
Chandigarh, June 22 (WISHAVWARTA):-The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has strongly condemned the baseless allegations and misleading statements made by opposition leaders regarding the Punjab government’s recent decision to delegate local housing authorities’ responsibilities to the Chief Secretary. AAP leaders, including Punjab President Aman Arora and General Secretary Deepak Bali, emphasized that this decision, made under Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s leadership, is aimed at streamlining governance and accelerating Punjab’s development. They accused opposition parties, particularly Congress, of spreading false propaganda to distract from their own failures and revive their diminishing political relevance.
Aman Arora said, “Opposition parties, especially Congress leaders like Partap Bajwa and Raja Warring, are misleading Punjab by spreading baseless propaganda about Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s decision to delegate local housing authorities’ responsibilities to the Chief Secretary,” said AAP Punjab President Aman Arora.
Arora clarified, “Authorities like GLADA, GMADA, ADA etc. are now under the purview of Punjab’s Chief Secretary, a senior officer with over 33 years of service. This decision ensures smoother operations and better accountability. It is shameful that opposition leaders are questioning the competence of such respected officials, who serve Punjab with utmost dedication.”
He added, “The final authority remains with the Chief Minister, who heads the boards, PUDA and reviews major decisions through the Punjab Cabinet. This streamlined structure is designed to accelerate development, not dilute the Chief Minister’s authority. Yet, the opposition is distorting facts to revive their lost political relevance.”
Arora strongly urged the opposition to stop spreading baseless rumors and allow the government to focus on delivering real results. “The Mann government is dedicated to Punjab’s progress, and such petty politics will not distract us,” he concluded.
*People Like Raja Warring Spreading Rumours to Stay Relevant, They are The Same People Who Never Objected When a Certain Pakistani Was Deciding Everything in CMO: Deepak Bali*
AAP General Secretary Deepak Bali ridiculed Congress leaders for their hypocrisy. “It’s amusing to see leaders like Partap Bajwa and Raja Warring suddenly concerned about governance. Where was their outrage when, under Amarinder Singh’s tenure, An ISI Agent influenced decisions in Punjab, and all administrative appointments and postings were dictated by a Pakistani? Back then, they were silent because they prioritized ministries over Punjab’s welfare,” said Bali.
Bali criticized the Congress for its dependency on petty politics for survival. “Congress leaders like Bhupesh Baghel come to Punjab for roadshows, but even they are outsiders who run back to Delhi. The Congress protests today are not genuine; they are just a means to stay relevant in the media. Without opposition for the sake of it, they would fade into irrelevance.”
He further highlighted the progressive governance of the Mann government, stating, “Punjab’s people recognize the transformational decisions being made under the AAP government. Never before have such effective decisions been taken for the state’s welfare. The opposition has no real issues to challenge us on, which is why they resort to baseless criticism.”
