SAD Working Committee to meet on January 10 to consider S Sukhbir Singh Badal’s resignation

Chandigarh, January 8 (WISHAVWARTA):- Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) Working President Balwinder Singh Bhundar has convened a meeting of the party’s Working Committee on January 10 to take a decision on the pending resignation submitted by SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal as well as making a programme for holding a membership drive to pave the way for restructuring of the party by holding organizational elections.

Disclosing this here, senior party leader Dr Daljit Singh Cheema said the meeting of the Working Committee would be held at the party head office here. He said besides considering the resignation of S Sukhbir Singh Badal the party would also announce the schedule for the membership drive besides discussing all important issues related to the State.
