Mohali Banks surpasses ACP Targets during the second Quarter of the Financial Year 2024-25
ADC Viraj Reviews the Performance of Banks
SAS Nagar, December 12, 2024 (Satish Kumar Puppy):- Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Viraj S Tidke reviewed the performance of the district banks during the 74th District Level Review and Advisory Committee (DLRAC)/District Consultative Committee (DCC) meeting held today at the District Administrative Complex, Mohali.
Key banking officials included Mr Pankaj Anand (Circle Head, PNB), Mr M.K. Bhardwaj (Chief LDM, Mohali), Mr Manish Gupta (DDM, NABARD), Ms Garima (LDO, RBI), Mr Upkar Singh (State Director, RSETIs), and Mr Amandeep Singh (Director, RSETI, Mohali), along with officials from various banks and associated government departments were present in the meeting.
Chief LDM, Mohali, M K Bhardwaj while presenting the data showcasing the progress of banks said that the banks have surpassed the target set for the Annual Credit Plan for the September quarter by achieving 64 per cent against 50 per cent. Besides, the Credit-Deposit (CD) Ratio improved significantly to 105 per cent against the National Goal of 60 in the district.
Dr. Ankita Kansal, Assistant Commissioner (G), SAS Nagar applauded the bankers for their performance and encouraged them for a stronger focus on Social Security Schemes. Chief LDM Mohali emphasized PM SVANidhi and other financial inclusion schemes, while Mr Pankaj Anand thanked participants and urged continued efforts.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke asked the bankers to meet the targets related to sponsored loan schemes recommended by the various departments like Industry Department, Khadi Board, Dairy Development and other departments. He said that the schemes launched by the Government of India for various start-ups and employment schemes should also reach the beneficiaries by raising awareness of the people coming to banks.
