Stubble burning in Punjab has reduced by 50%, maybe central minister Hardeep Puri isn’t aware, he should ask Shivraj Chouhan: Kang
AAP hits back at Hardeep Puri, says the BJP leader is unaware of facts
Kang takes a jibe at Hardeep Puri: When BJP’s politics of polarisation fails in Punjab, suddenly Punjab’s law and order is a problem
Mr Puri should also address issues like drugs coming from Gujarat, law and order in UP and gangsterism in Haryana: Kang
Chandigarh, October 29 (WISHAVWARTA):- Hitting back at BJP leader Hardeep Puri, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab said that it seems that the central minister is unaware of the facts and is giving baseless statements. AAP said that Hardeep Puri should ask his colleague Shivraj Singh Chouhan about the decrease in stubble burning cases in Punjab.
AAP MP Malvinder Singh Kang said that maybe Hardeep Puri does not know the latest data, the stubble burning in Punjab has reduced by 50%. A few days ago the BJP leader and union minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan himself said that this time there is 45% decrease in stubble burning cases in Punjab. Kang said that even the farmers don’t want to burn the stubble; the Mann government has worked tirelessly for the last two and half years to solve this issue, now their hard work is bearing fruit. Kang said that Mr Puri is giving baseless statements.
Kang added that since the BJP’s politics of polarisation has failed in Punjab, suddenly Punjab’s law and order has become a problem for BJP leaders. Kang said that drugs come from Gujarat, gangsterism is growing in Haryana and everyone knows the law and order situation and condition of dalits in UP. All these states are ruled by the BJP, so what do BJP leaders have to say about that, asks Kang.
