Chandigarh, April 22 (WISHAVWARTA)-The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab got a big boost on Monday when a number of Akali, Congress and BJP leaders left their old parties to join the AAP ahead of Lok Sabha elections.
Randhir Singh Tharaj, who is District President SC Wing Moga and Chairman of all India Majhabi Sikh welfare association, joined the Aam Aadmi Party. Along with him Paramjit Kaur Dhaliwal, Sarpanch and Vice president of Women Wing Moga, Harinder Singh Bhatia (MC candidate), MC Paramjit Singh Kainth ( Congress) and Balwinder Singh also joined the party. When Bhagwant Mann officially inducted all the leaders to the party, AAP MLA (Bagha Purana) Amritsar Singh Sukhanand and MLA (Rampura Phool) Balkar Singh were also present to welcome them to the party.
Apart from Akali and Congress leaders, many prominent BJP leaders also joined the AAP. Santokh Singh Gumtala National Secretary BJP SC morcha, Swinder Singh Chhajjalwaddi member core committee and state secretary Punjab BJP SC morcha, Manga Singh Mahla Adjective member BJP SC Morcha Punjab, Ranjit Singh Nathuchakk
Vice President BJP SC Morcha Tarntaran, Kuldeep Singh Pilowal Adjective member BJP SC Morcha Punjab and Randhir Singh Uppal (Retd. Assistant Inspector General of Police) joined the AAP.
In another joining, Nagar Council president of Jandiala Guru Sanjeev Kumar Lovely, Vice president Randir Singh Dhira and Councilor Ashu Vinayak left Congress to join the Aam Aadmi Party under the leadership of AAP cabinet minister Harbhajan Singh ETO. Bhagwant Mann welcomed all the leaders to the party and said that he appreciates the support of all these leaders to the AAP.
Speaking on the occasion, AAP minister Harbhajan Singh ETO said that the support of Jandiala Guru Nagar council will strengthen the party in Khadoor Sahib Lok Sabha constituency. He said that the Mann government haa done unparalleled work in the two years and people are joining the AAP in numbers ahead of Lok Sabha, it means that the party will take the lok sabha elections in the storm too like we did in 2022 Punjab Assembly elections. He said that the AAP government is getting support from every community and the section of society because we worked for the common people without any discrimination. In the AAP government every common person gets the equal facilities and opportunities. He said that it is certain that the Aam Aadmi Party is winning all the 13 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab.
